Get ready for Hallowe'en the natural way and express the wildness within!
Listen to a short presentation about the influence of earth-based folk rituals from Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Europe on contemporary art practice and homesteading in Atlantic Canada;
then participate in one of two workshops that use natural materials: animal masks with Kirstie McCallum or flower crowns with Carina Phillips.
FREE. All ages. Light refreshments and hot homemade soup will be provided.
The workshop is part of This Town Is Small’sRadiant Rural Hallsseries, conceived in response to a need for more contemporary art programming in rural areas.
