Sarah Noonan

Interim Programming Coordinator

Sarah Noonan (she/they) was born in Charlottetown, Epekwitk/ Prince Edward Island, Canada and is a multidisciplinary artist and poet based in Canada and Estonia. She considers our world today by investigating what connects co-existing worlds. Through sculpture installations using experimental material processes, textiles,  video, drawing, and printmaking they explore the psychology of what is sentimental, unstable and sensitive. The innocent appearance and unrefined hand-sewing of her own clothes as material, often collides with her haunting perspectives that are charged with mysticism, playfulness, and obscurity that depict an uncanny and expressive candour.

She received a master degree in Contemporary Art from the Estonian Academy of Arts (2024) and a bachelor of Fine Art from Mount Allison University (2019).
